Bountiful Buns & Extreme Side Parts!
The Spring 2011 runways were a bit of a tease—big hair was all the buzz! Plus, side braids and ballerina buns continue their comeback. No need to wait for spring to try a fresh style...these looks are also lovely for fall.
Bountiful Buns!
The ballerina bun appeared in various textures and heights. Oscar de la Renta offered true elegance with a flawless high bun, while Zac Posen went for a top knot with loose curls. This look can be dressed up or down to fit the proper occasion.
Extreme Side Part
The easiest and fastest way to update your look is to switch up your part. Models at Carolina Herrera, Gucci and Louis Vuitton rocked deep side parts fastened into classic buns and low pony's. A simple comb and a dollop of gel or pomade is all that is needed when creating this fresh look.

KarDASHian Loves Her Birkin's!!
Named for legendary beauty Jane Birkin by the venerable house of Hermès, a Birkin bag—as well as the Kelly, named for Princess Grace—is the most iconic of all handbags. And at more than $10,000 a pop, it is also a one-per-lifetime luxury. Unless of course you are Kim Kardashian...check out her collection!
Come Spring 2010, Kim lightened up again, shopping at West Hollywood's Intermix with a beige Birkin on her arm.
In September 2010, Kim's new orange Kelly bag was so big and so bright it seemed to arrive at LAX even before her thigh-high leather heels!

Industry Spotlight: The Blonds
New York-based design duo Phillipe and David Blond already have a serious celebrity following, with an impressive roster of pop-starlets among their A-list clients: Rihanna, Kylie Minogue, Miley Cyrus and of course Katy Perry have all turned to The Blonds when they've found themselves in need of serious sparkle.
The Blonds have mastered the art of intricate and over-the-top corsetry, which is why their foray into Old Hollywood-inspired red carpet wear seems like a natural progression. As Phillipe Blond explained to StyleBistro before his Spring 2011 show at Milk Studios, this collection featured "something for the modern day girl, who just wants to spice up her wardrobe."
Blonds fans who don't see themselves ordering a custom-made piece any time soon will be thrilled to learn that the duo have designed an exclusive selection of limited edition Barbies, available this November.

Style Survey Says...
All eyes were on Blake Lively on Thursday night at the launch of the Spring 2011 eyewear collection for Tiffany & Co. The Gossip Girl actress looked oh-so-sophisticated in an intricate lace-and-tulle knee-length dress by Elie Saab.
The dress featured a high, straight neckline, padding at the shoulders, buttons down the front—but Blake managed to pull it off without looking the slightest bit fussy. Perhaps it was her beachy Miu Miu braid, or the mesh Christian Louboutin peep-toe pumps.
This look is an excellent, simple, but edgy elegant look. WE LIKE! Now Jump!!
