MEN :: Jeans | Jeans | Jeans

Jeans On Jeans

1- Mix Lights And Darks
It’s the cardinal rule from which all others follow. And if you can’t get this one down, there’s no hope for you successfully completing your journey into denim squared. The good news: Blending blues isn’t rocket science. Pick a lighter colored jean jacket or shirt on top and a darker-washed denim for the bottom. The reverse has a way of transforming you into a top-heavy ice-cream cone. And matching exactly, well, that would be the Canadian tuxedo in its purest form.

2- Roll It Up
Denim is the basis for casual dressing, so keeping everything tucked and buttoned seems downright sacrilegious. There should always be a certain sense of ease with jeans. Roll up your sleeves, undo a couple of buttons (insert crisp white undershirt or ringer tee here) and relax.

3- Remember That Three’s A Crowd
Denim on denim is dandy; but denim on denim on denim may very well be too much of a good thing. From jackets to jeans to shirts and ties, pick two and call it a day.
