Hottest Looks from Milan & Paris Fashion Week S/S Collections!

Ann Demeulemeester
Wow! According to Ann Demeulemeester, it's going to be a grim Spring! Yikes! She's present a line full of black and and funeral tones; perfect for Wednesday Adams! I must say, I do like the execution of the clothing even though this is more of a Fall 2013 look.

Balenciaga
Balenciaga, in true Balenciaga fashion, showed prints and texture for spring! The almost monotone color palette left me wanting to see some of these pieces in spring hues. However the prints are funky and innovative, and will me hold me over until Balenciaga's Fall showing.

Balmain
A Fashion House that can virtually do NO WRONG in my eyes, Balmain has shown yet another STUNNING collection! The simple stripes, fused with this yellow jacket'esqu color segue and paired with supreme tailoring is what keeps Balmain at the forefront of Fashion!!

Céline
Ok. I see the vision for what Céline was going for, but I feel it was poorly executed! I dont know if I'm lost in this satin jungle or confused and dismayed from the house shoes these models are sliding down the runway in. Either way, I still gag for a Céline bag, but cant get with these fashions.

Givenchy
I think this collection is for the mature woman headed to a gala of some sort. I'll even go so far as to say, I can see Anna Wintour in some of the pieces from Givenchy's 2013 Spring/Summer collection. I'm starting to pick up on this dark spring trend that European designers are predicting!

Lanvin
Lanvin always creates clothing for todays "It Girl". I can see Kim K., Rihanna, Katy Perry and a few others from everyone's "Fave Girl" list, dawning these pieces for 2013. The hues and construction of each piece saves Lanvin from failing every season!

Maison Martin Margiela
Yet another "Dark Spring" designer, Maison Martin Margiela has shown why his clothing is for an exclusive clientele. However, aside from the maternity dresses, I actually enjoy some of the pieces from the 2013 showing. Also the shoes were simply elegant!

Martine Sitbon
I don't LOVE this, but I don't completely hate it either. I think its for Young Hollywood's, shock-and-awe celebutant! I think the only thing hindering me from LOVING this showing are some of the textures of the pieces; it looks like plastic. Yikes!

Rick Owens
Rick Owens always fuses fashion, with fantasy and out of those he's boar his collection for Spring/Summer 2013. The predominantly lightly hued showing left me feeling a little, blah. It didn't evoke any emotion from me; just another runway show.

Roland Mouret
Finally, Pops of Color! This total orange suit (pictured left) is exactly what I wanted to see for spring 2013 from a lot of other designers. Hues that make fashion fun, and edgy! Also, Mouret is giving us structured pieces that are still able to give feminine silhouettes! I love!
