About 2 days ago, I began following Nicola Formichetti on Twitter. He is most widely known as the new creative director for the French fashion house MUGLER, and for being a frequent collaborator with singer-songwriter and performance artist Lady Gaga.

Anyway.

He tweeted:

Hot or Not: Perez Hilton's Thierry Mugler Headpiece

Perez Hilton has gone from snarky blogger to Hollywood personality, with a bevy of celebrity friends including Lady Gaga, Selena Gomez and Kat Graham. With friends that fabulous, it would only be a matter of time before their style started wearing off on Perez.

At Logo's recent NewNowNext Awards, he showed up wearing a mesh Thierry Mugler headpiece designed by Gaga's BFF and stylist Nichola Formichetti. The structural topper covered Perez's entire face, similar to the way a beekeeper mask would. He paired the mask with a iridescent navy suit and a white shirt. Keep note that this wasn't a fancy dress party—no one else turned up in costume.
