Rafael Cox Presents: The Redemption Fashion Show [Photos+Video]

Many of you know budding designer, and fashion power house Rafael Cox as the audacious contestant on Season 9 of the Lifetime Network's hit series, “Project Runway”! Well now Rafael is ruffling more feathers, and making more fashion forward moves towards becoming a force to be reckoned with in the fashion industry.

As an avid leader of the up & coming Atlanta fashion community, Rafael unveiled his Spring 2013 collection to a diverse audience of fashion curators, consumers, and celebrity guest on Thursday, February 21, 2013 at the Defoor Center in Atlanta's hip and swanky fashion and arts district.  The show was hosted by local Atlanta, Hot 107.9 DJ Traci Steele, pictured in the promo picture above.

The collection revealed brightly hued cocktail dresses, and gowns that fuzed together some of the hottest trends in fashion for spring, i.e. the peplum, cut-outs and the sports stripe. Hot pink, neon green, canary yellow, and turquoise dominated the color palette on the runway. Which by the way, was innovative in it's own right.

Celebrity Attendees included Erica Dixon & Shay Buckey of VH1's "Love & Hip-Hop Atlanta", Bambi of VH1's "Basketball Wives LA", Sharlinda & Kahdijiha Rowe of Style Networks, "Big Rich Atlanta" and recording artist Vina Mills.

Joan Smalls and Karlie Kloss Will Host MTV's New 'House of Style'

Wow, we thought we were excited when MTV announced it was bringing back iconic 90s-era supermodel-hosted fashion television show House of Style—but now we're really excited! It was just announced on the MTV Video Music Awards red carpet that modern-day runway heroes Joan Smalls (above, left) and Karlie Kloss (right) will host the upcoming series.

Joan Smalls is one of the most heralded models of the past few years—and she's currently ranked number one on modeling industry site Models.com. She's currently starring in fall campaigns for fashion houses and brands such as H&M, Fendi, and Givenchy.

Karlie Kloss is currently ranked number two on Models.com's list of top women's models (ooh, rivalry!). The St. Louis native is currently starring in campaigns for Juicy Couture, Elie Saab, Jean Paul Gaultier, and Stefanel.

Best and Worst Dressed - The 2012 BET Awards

The BET Awards happened last night—and so did a lot of crop tops and cutouts. Besides the belly-baring attendees, there was also plenty of color (yellow, for the most part) and a variety of never-seen-before shapes. Click through to see who you thought was the best, and the worst, dressed this year!

I'll show you guys my TOP 10 Best, and you can look on in amazement at how many were under the WORST category.

FAVORITE :: Eva Pigford perfectly paired her white mini-dress with bright turquoise earrings and bright orange heels. And you can tell she's a model by how she's acing her red carpet pose!

The rest of these were horrible MISSES for me.
