Beyonce Models Her Best Fashion Moments in a New Pepsi Commercial

In today's requisite need-to-know Beyonce news of the day — oh wait, we already wrote that, so much Beyonce news — Pepsi released yet another commercial starring Queen B and Queen B and Queen B, oh, and some of the songstress' most glorious outfits over the years.

Ahem, that "Single Ladies" leotard, anyone?

The ad is basically a plug to her new song "Grown Woman," (which we're totally okay with) and in it, Bey gets into a dance-off (new dance moves!) with former versions of herself. Go ahead and put your Beyonce fashion knowledge to the test. Think you can handle this jelly? (Hint, hint!)

Marc Jacobs Strips Down for Diet Coke [VIDEO]

(Courtesy of Coca Cola)

Marc Jacobs is always game to strip down for advertising's sake. Remember when this happened?

(Courtesy of Marc Jacobs)

Jacobs's new coke bottles, which are printed with fashion sketches, will be released later this month, in an effort to bring some "sex and glamour" to the drink.

In the meantime, we have this teaser video, where Marc gets frisky in a photo booth with a can of Diet Coke. "I still think it’s hysterical people want me to take my shirt off. You know, I’m going to be 50 in two months, so I guess I should be glad,” Jacobs told WWD of his perpetual toplessness. “It feels like the decade of me taking my shirt off."

Lanvin Ad Campaign x Dancing Models?

The Lanvin Fall/Winter 2011 ad campaign features Karen Elson and Raquel Zimmermann alongside two male models dancing to Pitbull's hit song "I Know You Want Me". Also at the end Alber Elbaz joins in on the fun!!

I've never seen super models dance, and from the looks of it they've never seen their moves either. However, the clothes and styling are impeccable and make-up for any un-intentional rhythmic mishaps.

'You and I' - Lady Gaga’s Mega Fashion Metaphor

atform stilettos, blood covering her ankles, I felt an immediate homage towards Shania Twain‘s “That Don’t Impress Me Much.” Twain’s video, though over 10 years old, has always been a huge fashion memory for me (remember the all-leopard hooded ensemble with matching hat box?). Interestingly, Shania’s ex-husband Mutt Lange actually produced “You and I.”

Then there are the movie references. In the first consideration, we welcome back Lady Gaga’s male alter-ego, Jo Calderone. The Danny Zuko-esque bad boy ends up making out with Gaga on and around the piano she is playing. Stand-in or post-production special effect? It’s done so well we can’t be sure.

Also, the location of the kissing scene is in a similar set to Kevin Costner’s Iowa farm from “Field of Dreams." Instead of the movie-mantra that turned Costner’s backyard into a magical trip to baseball’s past, “If you build it, they will come“, Gaga opted to stick “Follow the Crowd” on the Sweet Ice Cream truck that brings her down to her knees (look for it around 0:20).

We also see Gaga as a very fashionable Frankenstein, a very randy mermaid, back to her super-bleached locks/turquoise locks/et al, and much more. The costumes are incredibly detailed from head to toe, and really boost the beauty of each passing frame. Must watch.

Transgender Top Model Contestant Isis King Promotes the ‘All Stars’ Season in Epic Fashion

America's Next Top Model's all-star season premieres in only a few short weeks (woo!), and in addition to the main pre-season video teaser, it seems like some of Tyra's Chosen Ones are getting their own special, individual, promo videos. First up is cycle 11's Isis King, the show's first transgender contestant, to whom, after her stint on the show, Tyra gifted gender reassignment surgeries.

In the short clip, she models on stilts in shiny silver leggings, dresses up as E.T., falls off a bed, and calls the other girls crazy in a confessional, as though anyone needed the reminder. As fans of the show will know, Tyra's a big fan of strong, emotive eye contact — smizing and the like — and Isis has clearly been practicing. While it's unclear exactly what's happening with her eyes in the promo footage — sm-rowning? smeye-rolling? a sm-eizure? some other made-up thing? — it is most definitely fierce.

Beyonce Covers Complex Magazine

Beyonce covers the upcoming issue of Complex Magazine, posing in Brian Lichtenberg for the August Issue celebrating Style & Design. Inside, she speaks candidly on almost being moved to tears the first time she heard Kanye’s ‘Runaway’ single as well as how her husband Jay-z inspires her. She also dishes on how she began working with Frank Ocean, how she feels about being compared to other female artists and how annoyed she becomes with people who are constant complainers.

On being compared to other female artists and rumored feuds
There is room on this earth for many queens. I have an authentic, God-given talent, drive, and longevity that will always separate me from everyone else. I’ve been fortunate to accomplish things that the younger generation of queens dream of accomplishing. I have no desire for anyone else’s throne. I am very comfortable in the throne I’ve been building for the past 15 years.”

On how her husband Jay-z inspires her
Jay’s music is more than music. His lyrics have fathered generations. All that he has overcome gives millions so much hope. There are moments when I see his lips moving and I can see lyrics floating above his head and I think, ‘Wow! How did I get so lucky to be able to witness this level of genius so closely?’”

On What Motivates Her
Whenever I feel bad, I use that feeling to motivate me to work harder. “I only allow myself one day to feel sorry for myself. People who complain really get on my nerves. When I’m not feeling my best I ask myself, ‘What are you gonna do about it?’ I use the negativity to fuel the transformation into a better me.”

Rihanna Is the New Face of Emporio Armani Underwear

While some men out there might mourn the end of Megan Fox's campaign with Armani, they have nothing to fear because the brand has chosen someone equally sexy to replace her. It was announced that starting this fall, Rihanna would be the new face—and body—of Emporio Armani Underwear and Jeans.

The decision takes the aesthetic of the ads in a completely different direction: from Megan's sultry beauty to Rihanna's edgier look. But we have no doubt people will be clamoring to see Rihanna's bangin' bod in her skivvies. Rihanna not-so-subtly tweeted about the campaign over the weekend and said, "U would NEVER guess what I’m doing right now!!! Hint Hint #Armani."

We can't wait to see the ads, but we have just one request for the masterminds behind the campaign—lose the red hair. Please?

Solange for Rimmel London

Not only is Solange Knowles is an unapologetic singer/songwriter, actress, model, DJ, and mom, but she has recently added a new gig to her resume. Solange has been revealed as a new face of cosmetic brand Rimmel London, posing in bold shadows, and inviting summer lip hues. “I have always been passionate about make-up because it allows me to express my personality and style. I’m very excited about representing Rimmel because it’s such a young, vibrant, on-trend brand,” she said.

The beautiful Sol-Angel tells Rimmel that her number one beauty tip is to “be healthy, be happy, be beautiful, be whole-heartedly you!” We love! Take a look at a brief interview with Rimmel as well as the promo images below, and be sure to look out for the campaigns

Q: Now you are the face of Rimmel, how do you feel about so many women looking up to you as a role model?

I am very careful of ever putting the role model tag on my shoulders. I am human and I am expected to have imperfections and make mistakes. However, if there are positive things I do that inspire or influence people I feel like my purpose as a person is that much more fulfilled. When I announced my role with Rimmel, I felt really proud to see such a positive response especially being that I represent someone of color, a single mom, an artist…and that I don’t have to compromise my views to do so!

Jessica Simpson Stores Coming to a Mall Near You

Jessica Simpson's eponymous clothing brand has become an global success. Though it could have easily gone the way of many less successful celebrity brands, Simpson's fashion empire is expected to do $1 billion in sales by the end of 2012. Jessica doesn't get to keep the cash, but she pulls in a pretty penny on royalties.

But where does it go from here? Vince Camuto, who owns the brand's licenses, says he envisions bridal, housewares and even freestanding stores. Yes, a Jessica Simpson store could be sitting next to your local Forever 21 or Gap in no time. The key, says Vince, is Jessica is hands on for all aspects of the project. He says:
She can be at a meeting for eight, nine hours, or she can be working two to three days in a row...Jessica knows her shoes and she has quite a good following — three million followers on Twitter...The customer sees Jessica Simpson with great product, day in and day out, at a great price. That’s what makes it a success. She talks about it, she wears the product.
Tell us, do you buy Jessica Simpson fashion and can you see yourself shopping at a Jessica Simpson store?

Pop Star: Karl Lagerfeld Presents Designer Diet Coke

This summer, you can take your devotion to Karl Lagerfeld to a whole 'nother level by sipping from special edition bottles of Diet Coke designed by the Kaiser himself. Are you thinking this is one of Karl's most random projects ever? Think again.

Once upon a time, Karl wasn't so svelte as he is now. Back in the day, Karl's frame was nearly as imposing as his genius. We all know size matters in fashion, so Karl endeavored on a stringent diet of stewed veggies and, guess what, Diet Coke!

So we guess the Diet Coke design deal isn't so surprising: Apparently Karl is obsessed with the stuff. Will you be quenching your thirst this June with Karl's designer Diet Coke? (You might also consider a Karl bear and Karl finger puppet!)

Solange Knowles May Launch a Clothing Line Soon

Performer Solange Knowles has never been involved in the family fashion venture House of Dereon, but that doesn't mean she doesn't have an interest in fashion design. Knowles, Beyoncรฉ's younger sister, revealed that she hopes to launch a line of her own in the near future.

Knowles reportedly told WENN (via Toronto Sun), "It's a funny thing because initially I got asked [to design a clothing line] and I was absolutely that person who frowned upon random artists and models and musicians for crossing over into that design process."

But now Solange says she's had a change of heart, since she thinks she can do it right. "A line that I really respect and was already a fan of reached out and had a great idea of us collaborating on maybe a particular collection and me just sharing ideas and prints."

Are you hoping to see Solange's collaboration sooner rather than later?

Tyra Drops the 'Banks' on 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show'

Tyra Banks is no longer Tyra Banks: She's just Tyra.

On Friday, the supermodel-turned-entrepreneur paid a bisit to The Ellen DeGeneres Show, where she discussed her new makeover site and her plans to ditch her last name.

"We can drop it right now, call me Tyra," the former supermodel said. "Okay, I have officially dropped the 'Banks' from 'Tyra' on the Ellen show."

Nevermind that Tyra's production company, Bankable Productions, takes its name from Tyra's last name.

The America's Next Top Model creator went on to talk about TypeF.com, a customizable fashion and beauty site that launches Tuesday. "Beauty is not one size, one shade, one style, one color—YOU are beauty and typeF.com is the beginning of a movement that starts with and for YOU," Tyra's welcome message reads.

So...do you think Tyra will stick by her word and drop her last name from the credits? Or is this just a well-timed publicity stunt?

Rihanna's VOGUE Cover + Gisele Bundchen Covers VOGUE Paris

"Rihanna: On Fame, Family, and How She Really Feels about her Curves" is the headline on Rihanna's April 2011 Vogue cover. The much-discussed issue has been revealed in a covert stealth shot featured on Fashion Bomb Daily.

On the cover, Rihanna still sports her red locks, but in a Jessica Rabbit-esque 'do. She wears a sheer sequin-embellished gown from Chanel's pre-fall collection. It's the second unique and edgier cover for Vogue in a row, following Lady Gaga's pink-wigged March cover. We were hoping Riri would ditch the red locks for it, but sadly, it seems not even Anna Wintour can persuade Rihanna to part with her flaming hair.

What do you think of the cover?

Speculation about Emmanuelle Alt's first Vogue Paris cover can now stop—the cover art has finally been released. Instead of continuing on with Carine's dark and edgy style, Emmanuelle has taken a step in the other direction.

For the April edition of the magazine, she styled Gisele Bundchen in a light and airy sheer lace dress by Dolce & Gabbana. It's a softer, more commercial look—aka one that advertisers will likely prefer. It'll be interesting to see what she does in coming months. August is supposedly the pivotal issue where her full vision for the magazine will be revealed.

What do you think about Vogue Paris' new direction?

Kim Kardashian Chats Fashion Week at Charlotte Ronson's Fall Show

We chatted with Kim Kardashian and Lala Vazquez backstage at Charlotte Ronson's fall 2011 fashion show during New York fashion week. The gals were all glammed up for the show in a mix of designer pieces: Kim wore some Chanel and Christian Louboutin pumps while Lala opted for Alexander McQueen pumps. Kim was her usual gorgeous self, with long eyebrow-grazing lashes—they're even longer in person!

Both gals raved about Charlotte's clothes, saying they loved how you can mix and match her pieces easily with both high and low end designers. Kim said, "Charlotte's always been a favorite of mine and it's going to be a fun show." The gals also chatted about their love for New York fashion week. Charlotte Ronson is Kim's first show of the season, but you can bet you'll see her at other shows—front row of course. Check out a video of our chat!

Kim K. Channels Her Idol for Harper's Bazaar Spread!

Kim Kardashian is everywhere these days, you really can't miss her! For March, she's landed another cover—Harper's Bazaar—but there's a sweet twist in store for readers. Aside from paying homage to Elizabeth Taylor with a Cleopatra-themed shoot, that included an original robe from the movie, she also interviewed the iconic actress!

During their chat, Kim asked about Elizabeth's jewels, scent, husband and if Liz would follow her on Twitter! Here's a snippet of their convo:

Kim: You are my idol. But I'm six husbands and some big jewels behind. What should I do?
Elizabeth: I never planned to acquire a lot of jewels or a lot of husbands. For me, life happened, just as it does for anyone else. I have been supremely lucky in my life in that I have known great love, and of course I am the temporary custodian of some incredible and beautiful things. But I have never felt more alive than when I watched my children delight in something, never more alive than when I have watched a great artist perform, and never richer than when I have scored a big check to fight AIDS. Follow your passion, follow your heart, and the things you need will come.

Victoria Beckham to Dawn Baby Bump on American VOGUE!?!

Victoria Beckham may be something of an international fashion icon, but she has yet to land the Holy Grail of magazine covers: American Vogue. The tabloids have, for years, made stories out of her supposed lust for the cover, even once suggesting that Mrs. Beckham had breast implants removed to impress the magazine's editor-in-chief, Anna Wintour.

The latest speculation: Victoria is planning to bare her baby belly in a tastefully nude Vogue editorial. A source told Star magazine (via Digital Spy), "It's not a very Vogue thing to do, but the team can make it work and make it 'fashion.' Anna's apparently really keen on it. Everyone's expecting it to fly off the shelves. Victoria's a huge style icon."

Should Beckham flaunt her pregnant body in the buff, she'd be following in the footsteps of Demi Moore, Christina Aguilera and Britney Spears. But judging from the looks of it, Victoria isn't showing all that much yet. She was photographed at London's Heathrow Airport this week looking svelte and streamlined as usual in black leather leggings, a loose-fitting tee and a structured blazer.

and the shoe??

Victoria Beckham donned fierce spiked black leather Christian Louboutin pumps to the airport.

Brand: Christian Louboutin

Lady Gaga's March 2011 American Vogue Cover LEAKS!!

In the age of the Internet, it seems nothing is kept a secret anymore—except Kate Middleton's wedding dress designer, but that's a whole 'nother story. In the fashion world version of WikiLeaks, Lady Gaga's reported March Vogue cover has been leaked.

On it, Gaga sports a pink wig, dark red lips and painted over brows. She does her best model pose in a gorgeously draped Grecian gown. Overall, it's a good compromise between Gaga and Vogue, with both of them stepping out of their comfort zones. No one really expected Vogue to go all-out with the avant-garde, but we like that they didn't turn Gaga into a clone of every other cover star.

What do you think of the cover?

Photoshop Alert: Kim Kardashian in 'Inland Empire'

Here’s Kim Kardashian in Inland Empire magazine this month (right picture), with the tiniest waist in the universe – a waist that has had help (besides from Spanx and a tight belt) from our frenemy Photoshop.

Then take a look at Kim’s completely different face shape on the cover of the magazine! For some unknown reason, the editors chopped off her chin, slenderized her face and elongated and thinned her neck, too:

Now you guys know I'm all for a GOOD Photo Shop, but not a Plastic Surgery Photo Shop!! I love Kim K., but they've altered her look a bit to much for this one!!

Kim Kardashian Gearing up for Skechers Superbowl Ad

Kim Kardashian doesn't have a boyfriend playing in this year's Super Bowl, but that doesn't mean she isn't going to get some pricy screen time!

The long-lashed entrepreneur is a spokesmodel for Skechers ShapeUps, among many other things, which means she'll be starring in a television advertisement to air during the year's most beloved American sporting event on February 6. On her blog, Kim explained, "I don't want to give too much away, but the storyline of the ad is so fun and I think you guys are going to love the commercial. I have to break someone's heart in the end... but you'll have to wait to see why!"

Judging from the promo behind-the-scenes shot posted to Kim's blog, the television personality won't be wearing all that much in the commercial, save a pair of pink and black ShapeUps. Are you looking forward to seeing her big ad debut?
