Oh Hey, Look Who's Blonde Again—It's Rihanna! + New Balmain Blouse

The length and Skrillex-y shaved side still seem to be in tact, but the hue is certainly much lighter than the caramel color (not to mention ultra-dark roots) she was snapped with last week (see below).

The real hair shocker she gave fans, though, was first spotted by E! News—a platinum blunt-banged bob, which presumably was a wig from one of the two photoshoots (told you, busy) she had yesterday.

One shoot was for River Island and the other for her partnership with MAC, in case you're dying to know. We're sure Instagram photos—possibly another hair surprise?—will follow soon. Any minute now...

In other Rih Rih news...

She was spotted heading to Da Silvano, one of her favorite eateries in NYC. She stopped for a few moments to take pictures with fans and even confirmed the next single from her latest album, Unapologetic. Fans will be happy to know that “Pour It Up” is the third song receiving the video treatment from Unapologetic. Interestingly enough, the song has already sold over 1 million units in the US, so I’m sure the song receiving the official video treatment will only aid in its success.

MAC Launches a Limited-Edition 'Punk Couture' Collection

(Photos courtesy)
Just when we thought we could safely retire our safety pins and studded dog collars, MAC Cosmetics went all rebel on everyone and launched a limited-edition "Punk Couture" collection, further continuning the movement's current en vogue status.

With only six pieces, the online-exclusive collection is tiny compared to MAC's usual new-launch lineup, but it covers all the bases—vampy lips, heavy eyeliner, and a rich berry nail lacquer called "Dark Angel." Check out all the pieces from the range, below!

MAC Lipstick in "Cyber," an intense blackish-purple lipstick; and "Dark Side," a deep burgundy lipstick ($15 each):

Pro Longwear Lipglass in "Dark as Night" ($20), a deep dirty purple with a slight pearl and Liquid Eye Liner in "Boot Black" ($19.50), an intense black:

Fluidline in "Blacktrack" ($16), an ultra-smooth gel eye liner with a silky finish:

Nail Lacquer in "Dark Angel" ($16), a goth romantic dark lilac:

The entire collection is available for a limited time, online only, at MACCosmetics.com.

Rihanna in $3000 Tom Ford Thigh-High Sandals + New Lipstick Sells Out!

Rih-Rih stepped out in New York on Tuesday rocking a pair of Tom Ford beige-leather knee-high kicks that cost a whopping $3,690! They're a little too bandage chic for me, but she rocks them well. Perhaps another color would satisfy the optics!

With her eccentric heels, she sported a Mary Katrantzou print top over cut-off shorts, carried a Givenchy clutch, and layered on chunky jewelry.

Meanwhile...

Rih's new lipstick for MAC has sold out just three hours after going on sale for the first time. The singer, 25, told her Twitter followers that the deep red hue was finally available to buy yesterday afternoon - but just a short while later she posted an update letting fans know that there were no more left.

'#SOLDOUT!!!!!!!!!! First shipment sell awf!!! Next shipment isn't til June!!! Mac girls gone wild!!!…' she wrote.

Is This The Next Thing in Rainbow Hair Color?

Could this possibly be the next big thing in rainbow-colored hair? Blue eyebrows? Khloe Kardashian's blue hair part was a big womp, womp (according to ya'll, at least). So perhaps this will better resonate?

We ask, because Cara Delevingne, model and brow-trendsetter of the moment, seems to think so. Or so her all-caps enthusiasm — "IT'S TIME FOR BLUE EYEBROWS!" — on Instagram leads us to believe.

A quick Google search, however, begs the differ. In fact, the only people who seem to be in support of brows of the ROY G BIV variety include:

This guy, a cemetery vandal, who was included in the Daily Mail's round-up of criminals with hilarious (and extremely unfortunate) mugshots.

And this group of people on Facebook who seem to think Taylor Swift's current arches could use a bit of a bluest, er, boost.

Sorry to break it, but those 16 "Likes" don't look all that promising. Dare we ask, blue eyebrows? Would you ever?

And The Most Dangerous Primping Procedure Is...

You know that ol' saying "beauty is pain"? Well, it didn't come around for nothing. Anyone who spends at least five minutes getting ready in the morning — and if even my begrudging middle-school brother does this, I know everyone else does — knows this.

We wax — the most, uh, delicate of parts — shave, pluck, wrap our appendages (okay, hair) around sizzling 400-degree could-be torture devices (okay, curling irons), yeah, we sacrifice a lot in the name of beauty. But have you ever wondered how much?

Well, the folks over at MyVoucherCodes, a UK-based discount code and coupon site, did, so they polled 2,000 women to find out what the most common primping injuries are. The #1 biggest beauty blunder was (drumroll, please...) shaving and waxing! 48 percent of women reported suffering some sort of shaving/waxing-related boo-boo. Are you at all surprised?

Other apparently dangerous procedures included:

Sunburn from tanning (37 percent)
Got burnt while using hot tool (33 percent)
Had an allergic reaction to a beauty product (26 percent)
Eyelash curler "accident" — eek! (14 percent)
A bad reaction to hair dye (11 percent)
Tattoo/piercing malfunction (3 percent)
Teeth whitening (1 percent)

Teeth whitening, dangerous? Who knew! Also, a whopping 28 percent of women said they've never — not once ever! — suffered any sort of injury while primping. Um, secrets, please?

What's That? Gray Make-Up?

Remember that scene in Pleasantville, where Tobey Maguire helps Joan Allen try to blend back in with her grayscale surroundings by applying gray-and-black makeup to her skin and face? If you always thought that was one of the coolest scenes in that movie (we definitely did), then you'll want to get in on MAC Cosmetics' newest offering, "Grey Friday," which will launch on Black Friday (the day after Thanksgiving) at Macy's MAC counters from midnight to 4 a.m.

The color-coordinated lipstick and nail polish duo come in a perfect slate shade of dark gray—the lipstick is a black-gray flecked with silver shimmer, and the nail polish is a stunning gray with a silvery suede pearl finish.

Don't worry if you prefer to sleep in on Black Friday, though—the colors will be avaialble online for US customers beginning December 6th and in stores for a limited time December 13th through January 17th.

And in case you've never seen Pleasantville, here's what I'm talking about:

The Kardashians' Khroma Beauty Collection Debuts on Facebook

(Getty Images) Khloe, Kourtney, and Kim Kardashian)
If you've ever wanted the Kardashian makeup look—smoky eyes and bronzed and glowing skin—well, pretty soon you'll be able to buy it. Kim, Khloe, and Kourtney Kardashian are thisclose to launching Khroma Beauty, a makeup and accessories (read: false eyelashes) collection that emulates the sisters' signature style.

It features the campaign image of the three Kardashian sisters, in full makeup:

Notice how Kim Kardashian wears her signature super-smoky eye and neutral lip; Khloe Kardashian gets a bit more shimmer in her eyeshadow and a stronger blush; and Kourtney's all about lashes, a neutral shadow, and a pink lip.

The site also shows off one new product—fake eyelashes. These are serious:

When Khroma Beauty officially launches—in time for the holidays, we hope!—there will also be "Kardazzle" compacts and other kits, so you can recreate full Kardashian faces in the comfort of your own home.

"Makeup plays such a huge role in all our lives, whether we're on camera, at a shoot glammed up or just keeping it natural day to day," Kim wrote on her blog earlier this year, "and it's a dream come true to be able to create our own line of products to share with you guys."

Will you be trying out Khroma Beauty when it launches later this year? What do you think of these fake eyelashes? Tell us in the comments section, below!

Nicki Minaj's Perfume Bottle Will Look like Nicki Minaj

There's been a ton of speculation this week that Nicki Minaj will join Mariah Carey as a new judge on American Idol. So when Minaj tweeted last night that she'd announce a "surprise" for fans this morning, no one expected it would be a fragrance launch.

With a picture of a Minaj-shaped bust bottle, Minaj introduced her upcoming perfume, dubbed "Pink Friday" (like her album), and set to launch in September. See the resemblence?

What do you think of Nicki Minaj's upcoming fragrance, and fragrance bottle? Let us know in the comments!

Would You Pay $250,000 for Nail Polish?

If you literally want your hands to be dripping in diamonds, fine-jewelry maker Azature—aka the "black diamond king"—has the nail polish just for you.

That is, if you're willing to pay a pretty penny for it.

The blingest polish of them all contains 267 carats of black diamonds and clocks in at a whopping $250,000 per diamond-shaped bottle—making it (not surprisingly) the most expensive nail polish on the market to date.

According to a statement, "The nail polish is offered in Azature signature black and coats on with a glittery sheen that resembles the sparkle of an Azature diamond."

Thankfully, Azature is aware that not all of us are willing (or able for that matter) to spend, oh, just five college educations-worth on nail polish. So for $25, the brand is also releasing a similar tricked-out shade made with only one black diamond, which will be availble to Fred Segal shoppers come August.

Will you be coating your nails in diamonds this fall? Let us know in the comments below!

Nails: Talking Trends with Celebrity Nail Artist Madeline Poole

(Photos: Madeline Pool Nails)
Madeline Poole is the crystal ball of the nail art world—and the future looks empty (as in negative space, but more on that later). As the newest manicurist of Nailing Hollywood, a two-year-old Los Angeles-based agency with a serious celebrity clientele (think Miley Cyrus, Michelle Williams, Rosie Huntington-Whitley, and Lea Michele, among others), Madeline’s done everything from decoupaging dollar bills to inventing galaxies on nails in the name of beauty. She’s also perfected ombré, likely invented the outline trend, and won acclaim for painting graphic patterns with such precision she seems like she was born with a brush in her hand. Turns out that’s not too far from the truth.

(Photos: Madeline Pool Nails)

StyleBistro: What have you been doing a lot of lately? What are your latest styles? Madeline Poole: As far as nail trends, one of my classic things is doing the outlined nails—it’s always popular with people who come to me. And even though ombré nails have been in style for a while, they continue to be big. Lately I’m using pastel neons, vibrating colors, and a lot of neon green, which is all over the place right now. There’s sort of a sportswear trend in fashion, and electric colors go with that.

(Photos: Madeline Pool Nails)
Any trends you can forecast? Leaving negative space on the nail, any way that you can look at the nail and do something unexpected or strange, those seem to be the things that catch on, at least in the blog world.

Where do you find inspiration for your designs? I might see a jacket on someone and see a pattern in it that I like. And I’m always infiltrated by pop culture: I’ve done Scream mask nails, and the Misfits skull face.

You’re a trained artist? I guess so. I went to art school and studied painting and I worked at a poster restoration shop for a while, using a really tiny brush to restore lithographs. And I worked with my mom, who’s a muralist, my whole life.

(Photos: Madeline Pool Nails)
That’s how you learned to be meticulous? Amazing. It’s funny, right? That experience was really influential. I learned how to mix colors, how to apply color, how to use a really small brush in a way that was precise—because it’s not necessarily, if you don’t use it right. Also, recreating really small images is kind of what I was doing. I was always really good at copying stuff. When I was a kid, I could copy cartoons really well. Whenever I made paintings, they were always really small. And I made egg dioramas. So I’ve been doing small painting for a long time.

It is your calling! Who are your dream clients? They’re all really obvious: Lady Gaga, Beyonce, the list goes on. All people who have outrageous style and long nails that they take care of and are part of their look. Why do you think people have become so obsessed with nails? Maybe it’s because of blog culture. It’s now just an expected part of a look. If you’re going out, having your nails done is part of that. I’ve heard a lot of people say it’s this “semi-affordable luxury,” versus buying expensive clothes, but it’s not that cheap! I’m unsure why it wasn’t big already, because it’s a really expressive way of using cosmetics. You can really show your wacky side, or your classy side, or whatever. When you have your nails done, you feel complete.
