At the Metropolitan Opera's gala premiere of Le Comte Ory on Thursday night, the designing women joined the teems of stars dressed by Yves Saint Laurent for the occasion. Ashley somehow managed to maintain a quirky vibe in her classically elegant, teardrop-embroidered sheath with a tres fabulous jade fur stole; Mary-Kate, meanwhile, contradicted her feminine polka-dot gown with a sleeveless gray wool coat. Earlier this year, television personality Kelly Osbourne replaced Taylor Momsen as the spokesmodel for Madonna's juniors clothing line, Material Girl. The Spring 2011 ad campaign—featuring looks styled by Madonna's daughter Lola—dropped shortly thereafter, and on Thursday, Kelly celebrated the launch of the latest collection at Macy's Beverly Center.

Kelly was, of course, outfitted entirely in pieces from the collection, including a high-waisted floral skirt, a polka-dot blouse and a faded denim jacket. Why hello, Desperately Seeking Susan!

Leona Lewis' Horse Dress ?? Hot or NOT

The lovely Leona Lewis is a vocal animal rights supporter, so of course she attended the 25th Anniversary Genesis Awards hosted by the Humane Society on Saturday.

Lewis, who has been experimenting with fashion design of late, took to the red carpet in a dress appropriate for the evening's theme. Her one-shouldered black frock featured a horse's face painted on the bodice in white, with a fringe up the neckline fashioned to look like a white and gray mane.

It's safe to say this is Leona's own design. Do you think it works on the animal rights crusader? Or should she just quit horsing around (please pardon the obvious pun)?

Kate Middleton isn't even a princess yet, but already she's a commanding presence in British fashion—everything she wears is turning to gold! Most recently, she's been making the rounds in a classic tan Burberry trench with a frill hem. As a result, the trench is sold out!

The British heritage brand's website has none left in stock following her string of appearances. The coat, valued at around $1043, was initially sold out in just the smaller sizes, but it seems the larger ones have been scooped up as well. Not even Net-a-Porter has them in stock!

Who Wore Givenchy Better—Kanye West or Liv Tyler?

It's not often you get two stars wearing the same thing to the same event. It's also not frequent that you can put a woman and a man head to head in a 'Who Wore It Better' challenge. But low and behold, at the Givenchy fashion show Liv Tyler and Kanye West showed up wearing the same, snarling rottweiler top by the designer.

Both stars paired their tees with black jackets, but the similarities end there. Liv opted for a mini skirt, sandals and a clutch to give her tough tee a touch of femininity. Kanye, on the other hand, went for a slouchy chic look and paired his with leather pants and sneakers.

Aubrey O'Day has been out of the reality spotlight for a while, but never fear TV addicts: Aubrey is back with a vengeance! Starting March 7, Aubrey's show All About Aubrey will air on the Oxygen network.

At the show's premiere, Aubrey took a chance with a bright pink leopard-print peasant top tucked into ruffled bloomers with a black-and-white screenprint. She sealed the deal with a wide, pink-buckled belt and, of course, pink suede sandals. There was a lot going on here, but clearly the shorts were the star of the show.
