EXHIBITION: ALL I WANTED TO BE IS WHAT I BECAME: A social study of Civil Disobedience in the Land of the Lost and Found. This collection is an introspective look at the Rebel aspect of our namesake. The true definition of the Rebel: this season's offerings include clever detailing as well as a timeless color palette with subtle rebellious tones and textures. This milestone collection is by far our most cohesive and straightforward collection to date. All in all, an ode to to the gentlemen who know that righteousness lies outside the system; that in order to know justice and know peace, one must challenge certainty.
Brand Manifesto: G.P.P.R. Manifesto: The Gentleman, the Philosopher, the Pervert, the Rebel: all aspects of an amalgam, a single entity. These seemingly independent facets are by no means compartmentalized, as these four aspects are intertwine with one another: the chivalrous and proper Gentleman; the progressive and probing Philosopher; the indulgent and excessive Pervert; the subversive and defiant Rebel. The modern renaissance Man, a polymath of versatility, an old fashioned soul in modern times. GPPR constructs garments around this understanding, creating menswear imbued with aspects of these personalities, seeking to embody the modern Renaissance Man.

So, I know I am EXTREMELY late with blogging this post, considering fall is DEFINITELY over, and winter is on its way out the door, so what I'm going to do is spin it like this... Since it's Milan Fashion Week, and everyone is showing their Fall/Winter 2012 Collections anyway, thats what I'll say this is for !!
Anyway, check out my casual to GQ looks for Fall/Winter 2012 !!
We’re starting to wonder whether Beyoncรฉ is in fact a magical being. Not content with her mega diva status, popping out a beautiful daughter (hello baby Blue Ivy!), and flaunting her post-baby figure in a form-fitting Alice Temperely frock in recent weeks, Queen B has found the time to rustle up another dose of her clothes collection.
That's right, folks, House of Derรฉon – Beyoncรฉ Tina Knowles’ luxe label – has just launched its Spring Summer 2012 campaign – and Grazia Daily is the first to bring it onto the interweb. Hurrah! Shot by famed photographer Tony Duran, the image above is all about the brand's muse – you guessed it, Ms Beyoncรฉ. The new mummy looks scrumptiously sultry (obvs) wearing a structured stud-embellished khaki bodice from the collection. But it’s that bouffanty mane that has us enthralled. Phwoar.
So what can we expect from the Spring Summer collection, hmm? Well, there's a variety of dresses on offer – from short and feminine frocks to floaty maxis – perfect for hitting the city streets or frolicking about in festival fields. And if you’re after some evening elegance, look no further than the pleated trousers teamed with a sharp jacket. Our faves? Definitely the delicious pastel jeans.
In fact, the palette of the entire collection is soft pastels, from cool mints and warm rusts to oh-so-on-trend coral. There are lots of pretty details too – we’re talking ruffles, lace, smocking and vintage inspired prints.
Thanks to our exclusive video lookbook, you can watch the pieces in action - sported by a gaggle of giggling Solange-a-likes. Enjoy!

About This Look:: I really had no idea where I was going with this look. I found these SHORTS, (Yes, they're shorts) while thrifting a couple of weeks back, and I knew I was wearing them, but I had no idea what the rest of the fit would look like!! So that's when I totally immersed myself in my closet for about 10 minutes, and just started pulling things, and this is what I came up with.
I always find the cutest ways to put stuff together when it's on impulse!!
If you have a LookBook account, make sure you go HYPE my look, and I'll return the favor!!
