Pharrell is Joining Rihanna's New Style Network Reality Show, 'Styled to Rock'

Following the announcement late last year that Styled to Rock, Rihanna's debut fashion reality show in the UK, had been canned due to low ratings—and the follow-up announcement that th rights to the show had be acquired Stateside by the Style Network—here's another exciting development: Pharrell will be joining the US version of Styled to Rock, and the American edition of the show is set to premiere later this year.

Styled to Rock, USA edition, will follow 12 up-and-coming fashion designers the opportunity to create pieces for celebrities. The designers will face a series of challenges over the course of the 10-week series. Each contestant will have a celebrity mentor, and designers will be eliminated each week, depending on their performance.

At the very least, getting on the show sounds like a really good opportunity to spend some quality time with some of the music industry's biggest stars.

"Pharrell's unique aesthetic and commitment to individuality combined with Rihanna's vision for this series will enable our aspiring designers to hone their craft and learn from the very people who set the trends," said Style Media President Salaan Coleman Smith.

This isn't Pharrell's first foray into fashion—not by a long shot. The multi-Grammy-winning producer and artist has his own clothing lines—Billionaire Boys Club, Billionaire Girls Club, Bee Line, IceCream—and he's designed jewelry and accessories for heavy-hitters such as Louis Vuitton. He's collaborated with Moncler, worked with Takashi Murakami, and established the creative venture i am OTHER.

Stay tuned for more Styled to Rock updates. We can't wait to see how this series unfolds—and how it will be different from Rihanna's UK iteration.

Exclusive: An Inside Look at Kerry Washington’s ‘Scandal’ Wardrobe [VIDEO]

Bluefly.com has teamed up with Kerry Washington for their latest installment of the "Closet Confessions" video series--and just in time for tonight's season two premiere of "Scandal."

This is the first time Bluefly is taking a look at the style of a fictional character--in this case, Olivia Pope the fierce and feisty "fixer" Kerry plays on ABC's hit show.

The actress quips that the video gives "a little bit of information about Olivia Pope's fashion, which is much better than Kerry Washington's fashion-- because she's cooler than I am by far."

We're not sure about that--Kerry's personal style is pretty darn snazzy. However, we do love Olivia's strong and sophisticated ensembles, which Kerry reveals are well thought out. "We really work to make sure that the clothes represent not just her [Olivia] as a person but also her mood and where is she in the arch of the episode," Kerry says.

To find out Kerry's favorite pieces from the show and the items she plans the steal for her own closet, check out the video below.

We've only seen one episode of Deception, but we're already quite taken with Meagan Good's on-screen style. The trick to her polished look? Button-down blouses (she's already worn 3). Add some red to your wardrobe for under $12 with this Elementz "Utility Top."
