My FAVE Looks from London & Milan Fashion Week! [So Far]

Dolce & Gabbana Spring/Summer 2013.

Didn't LOVE the presentation, maybe I'm just not into the print. However, if I had to choose, these would be the best from the show.

Emporio Armani Spring/Summer 2013.

Love the color palette, and the fabrics. However the silhouettes aren't as conventional as I would like. AMAZE shoes though!!

Fendi Spring/Summer 2013.

Love EVERYTHING! From the color palette to the not so body-con dresses that are still giving a shape, I love it all. Fendi gets it this Spring!

Gucci Spring/Summer 2013.

I would have LOVED to see Gucci do pieces, suits, and separates like they showed for their Men's Spring Collection. They really hit the nail on the head for the men. However these unshapely dresses are screaming Lanvin S/S 2012, and just aren't enough of a push for Gucci.

Jil Sanders Spring/Summer 2013.

I haven't heard many things about this designer, but when I ran into the collection, I had to give my thoughts. I like where some of the pieces are going; on one hand they are everyday-girl-looks, but then some of the pieces are for a certain girl only. Either way I think I'm a fan.

Elena Miro Spring/Summer 2013.

I had no idea this was a "Plus Sized" line until I read further up on it. I guess they're plus sized compared to the sample sized models. Anyway. I love the collection, even if it does remind me of the dress from Alice & Wonderland that she wore at the Evil Queens house.

Moschino Spring/Summer 2013.

Im here for the ode to the past in regards to the shape, hair, and accessories. What I dont particularly love, is the fact that it doesn't look like a SPIN or TWIST on an era; it just looks like costumes. It doesn't look as if the line was 60's inspired, it just looks like it's from the 60's. Nothing revolutionary.

Prada Spring/Summer 2013.

I don't, or maybe I can't appreciate this. I'm not sure what's happened here, but I need answers!

Versace Spring/Summer 2013.

I literally had the HARDEST time choosing my top 6 pieces because there were so many amazing dresses. Versace hasn't disappointed me in a while, and I'm still satisfied going into 2013! You guys HAVE to see the complete collection!

Missoni Spring/Summer 2013.

This is Period Fashion done correctly! It's reminiscent of a certain era without being a costume piece from that era! Not to say that I'm a FAN, but I do appreciate some of the prints and patterns presented.

M.I.A In Versace Haute Couture During Paris Fashion Week

M.I.A made a statement in Versace this past weekend as she hit up the Versace Haute Couture show as part of Paris Fashion Week. She was spotted front row in a gold patterned jacket, top and leggings that she paired up with embellished Versace shoes and a small gold handbag.

This look definitely has a lot going on but it’s so M.I.A. Check out more pics

Joined by G.O.O.D Music artists Big Sean, Pusha T and D’ Banj, she hit the red carpet in a white Emilio Pucci dress with a plunging neckline, accented with a gold belt and Versace pumps.

Later, she hit the stage at the after party to perform songs off of her new mixtape, ‘The Misunderstanding Of Teyana Taylor’.

Milan Fashion Week: Fall 2012 {MEN's}

People look at fashion shows for cues on how men's fashion is moving forward. Sometimes we're excited, say, when Jil Sander takes inspiration from the double-breasted suit and serves it up in leather. And sometimes we're all, "WTF?"

Versace

"The inspiration for this collection comes from a dream I had after eating pad Thai at the Shangri-La, listening to a remix Diplo made called 'Barney and Friends vs. Fight Club,'" says Donatella Versace. OK, so I made that up, but can you blame me?

Salvatore Ferragamo

Now color doesn't mean looking like a Cirque-du-Soleil-performer-turned-off-duty-biker. Leave it to the Italians to illustrate the art of sophisticated color coordination. Here's the trick: Navy, purple and brown will never go wrong -- it's a show stealer.

Ermenegildo Zegna

Editor's Pick: Here's a look we can get behind: sports-inspired outerwear, a color that doesn't induce a seizure and a hairstyle that's polished but not precious.

Tinie Tempah representing in style at Dolce & Gabbana. Check out those purple buttons -- sick.

Salvatore Ferragamo

Here's a look we've been seeing for a few seasons now: the man purse -- actually being held as, well, a purse. It works in Italy, it works if you're an aspiring street-style guy, but if you can't handle this, there's always other options.

John Varvatos

For performing with the band, or just hanging out with one.

Versace

So we've taken a few hits on Versace, but we ain't total haters. This look embodies another trend we can get behind in evening wear for men: velvet. It's not for every dude, but it's a great option for the Golden Globes (hear that, Gerard?) or for a night at the Shangri-La.

Nicki Minaj, Jennifer Hudson, Prince & More Attend Launch of Versace For H&M

Nicki Minaj stepped out in a colorful ensemble paired with Versace Platform Shoes last night for the launch of Versace’s line for H&M in New York City. The highly anticipated line that will be available later this month at H&M included embellished pieces with studs, sequins, leather, and lace. Models for the line hit the runway in pieces that included tropical prints mix-matched with brightly colored leopard prints, as well as heart-stamped dresses. The accessories are super fun and girly and include jewelry, belts, and shoes. The idea behind this collection was definitely glamorous, fun, bright, trendy, and definitely not your average H&M collection.

Look of the Day: Jennifer Lopez Is a Stunning "All Star" at the Glamour Awards

It's safe to say Jennifer Lopez killed it at Glamour's 2011 Women of the Year Awards! The quadruple threat brought back the JLo glam we know and love in an Atelier Versace gown with a curve-hugging silhouette and hip-high slit.Donatella Versace (another fashionable attendee of the event) never holds back when it comes to embellishments. Her Fall 2011 couture collection was graced with vibrant colors, intricate embroidery and luxe fringe. Jennifer selected a muted piece, but it was far from lacking in rich texture with perforated leather petals cascading over sparkling scaly fabric. The American Idol judge shined on the red carpet with matching metallic accessories and silvery shadow behind her faux lashes. JLo wore her highlighted locks in a swept-back half-up 'do to show off her diamond stud earrings. She took home the All-Star Award of the night for her thriving multifaceted career.

Top Affordable Designer Diffusion Lines

Since Isaac Mizrahi's famous collaboration with Target, designer diffusion lines have exploded. Last winter Lanvin for H&M flew off the shelves in a frenzy and even Karl Lagerfeld and Donatella Versace have joined the affordable diffusion trend. Here's a look at some high-fashion gone affordable as well as upcoming collaborations we're holding our breath for.

The mastermind behind Kim Kardashian's wedding gowns (plural), Vera Wang has been the designer on everyone's lips for years. From bridesmaids dresses to mattresses, there are few products Vera doesn't have her name on. Lucky for us, the talented designer has an affordable diffusion line, Simply Vera by Vera Wang, at Kohls. The vast collection encompasses everything from jewelry and clothes to bedding and footwear.

The world is waiting with bated breath for the Versace and H&M collaboration. Versace is simply synonymous with high-end fashion, and come November 19, the brilliant designs of Donatella will be at our fingertips. Thanks to a sneak peek, we already know the collection will be rife with Versace's famous greek key pattern, studded leather and signature fringe.

Everyone's favorite Project Runway winner, Christian Siriano, has been teaming up with Payless Shoes since the Fall of 2009 to give us ultra-fierce footwear. We are currently loving his sky-high platform booties and green alligator embossed platforms.

To much surprise, the reigning king of Chanel, Karl Lagerfeld, recently launched an eponymous diffusion line exclusively for Macy's. Hot pink cocktail dresses and sophisticated ascot styles hit the floors of the department store this fall to mixed reviews.
