Beyonce's New H&M Ad Campaign Revealed

Beyonce and that bangin’ body are putting us all to shame (again!) now that more photos from her super sexy H&M 2013 Summer Campaign have been released. As the new face of the brightly colored swimwear line Bey shows every inch of her curves in the Jonas Åkerlund shoot, the same photographer who was behind the camera for her official “Mrs. Carter World Tour” commercial. Speaking on her latest campaign takeover for 2013, Beyonce talked about loving the summer, shooting in the Bahamas and how her mother’s bold style has influenced her own fashion choices:

On the Bahamas shoot: “I loved shooting the campaign in the Bahamas. We shot on a beach outside of Nassau and the weather was perfect. The shoot was filled with vibrant colors and was inspired by the glamour of the late ‘70s.”

On her summer style: “I love the summer. I’m always in shorts, dresses, light, flowing fabrics, great sandals,” says Beyoncé of her summer looks. She credits her stylists Ty Hunter and Raquel Smith as “an influential part of the process” each day.
On her mother’s style influence: “I think my style comes from watching my mother from the time I was a little girl. She was so stylish. She was the first person I saw mix high end pieces with more accessible styles and make it all work. I’m also inspired by my sister, I love her bold approach.”

What Do You Think of Wearing Tights Under Shorts?

Today, on the set of a new TV pilot, Krysten Ritter re-introduced the tights-under-shorts trend. The raven-haired actress is far from the only stylish celeb who appreciates the pairing.

Miranda Kerr loves to utilize this trick to show off her legs in the winter, Nicole Richie gives it a cool boho edge, Nicole Sherzinger successfully integrates it into her sweet-meets-sexy look, and, well, Zooey Deschanel makes tights work with everything. Even Olivia Palermo and Sienna Miller have shown us how to rock the duo in their own distinct ways.

Nothing makes us happier than the marriage of style and practicality. You can wear shorts in winter! You can wear shorts to work! You can wear shorts and not shave your legs! You can wear shorts and never let your pasty legs see the light of day! But, alas, it all comes down to aesthetics.

Peruse these pictures and tell us: Do you like the look or do you think shorts and hoisery should go their own separate ways? Vote below!

SHOCK :: Guess Who's In A DRESS!!

I spotted this over on NecoleBitchie, and had to repost it!

Guess which singer was spotted dolled up in a dress and some platform heels as she celebrated a friend’s birthday?

Hint: She kills the suit game on the regular!

If you guessed Janelle Monáe, then you are correct. Although we always see her rocking a suit when she’s hitting the stage, she let her hair down recently for a night out with friends. She looks too cute!

In case you missed it, she recently revealed to Huffington Post that she rocks black and white suits on the regular as a form of uniform which helps keep her grounded:
It’s a dedication to uniformity and I’m a minimalist by heart, but a lot of it had to do with me wanting to have a uniform like the working class, like my mom and my grandmother. My grandmother had 16 sisters and brothers and they all had to share one pair of shoes, and so that’s the family that I come from — I don’t ever want to be detached from that. I use it as motivation for my music and to just keep me centered, grounded and to stay on message.
While we are waiting for her Essence Magazine spread, catch her rocking the menswear in Elle Canada below:

Ahem, that "Single Ladies" leotard, anyone?

The ad is basically a plug to her new song "Grown Woman," (which we're totally okay with) and in it, Bey gets into a dance-off (new dance moves!) with former versions of herself. Go ahead and put your Beyonce fashion knowledge to the test. Think you can handle this jelly? (Hint, hint!)

Hermes Bags & Sports? [VIDEO]

Hermes's theme for fall is "A Sporting Life," so, to drive that point home, the brand released a series of videos featuring their luxury goods playing sports.

Fancy sports! Like, croquet:

And French sports, like pétanque:

And ping-pong, which Hermes plates are very good at, while Hermes bags prefer to watch.

Wouldn't want to scuff that fine leather.

Ewing 33 Hi “Jamaica” & “Georgetown”

Original build and colorways are two features that made the Ewing 33 Hi a hit when it returned in retro form. However, Ewing Athletics took things back to its namesake’s roots for the new “Jamaica” and “Georgetown” color schemes. Born in Kingston, Jamaica, it’s only right we see Patrick Ewing’s most famous shoe brought back in a white, black, green, and yellow makeup. A Jamaican flag on the heel counter of the mostly white shoe provides a finishing touch, while the “Georgetown” colorway pays homage to Ewing’s days dominating the paint as a young Hoya center. Navy and grey color interchange through the upper and the midsole to keep the honorary shoe true. Both sneakers release in limited quantities at Wish this Saturday, March 30.

Is This The Next Thing in Rainbow Hair Color?

Could this possibly be the next big thing in rainbow-colored hair? Blue eyebrows? Khloe Kardashian's blue hair part was a big womp, womp (according to ya'll, at least). So perhaps this will better resonate?

We ask, because Cara Delevingne, model and brow-trendsetter of the moment, seems to think so. Or so her all-caps enthusiasm — "IT'S TIME FOR BLUE EYEBROWS!" — on Instagram leads us to believe.

A quick Google search, however, begs the differ. In fact, the only people who seem to be in support of brows of the ROY G BIV variety include:

This guy, a cemetery vandal, who was included in the Daily Mail's round-up of criminals with hilarious (and extremely unfortunate) mugshots.

And this group of people on Facebook who seem to think Taylor Swift's current arches could use a bit of a bluest, er, boost.

Sorry to break it, but those 16 "Likes" don't look all that promising. Dare we ask, blue eyebrows? Would you ever?
