Kandi Burruss Gets Girlie In Pink Hearn Dress To Promote ‘The Kandi Factory’

Photo: John Ricard/BET

Pint size singer/songwriter Kandi Burruss stopped by the set of “106 & Park” this week to promote her new Bravo show, “The Kandi Factory.” Looking as bright as bubblegum, she wore an adorable flared dress from Hearn.

While the dress looks expensive because of it’s tailored fit, the “Contrast Side” dress actually retails for $235 on TedBaker London. We love her pom-pom heels and bold accessories she paired the dress with; it definitely shows her cheerleader-like personality.

Steal Her Style: Rihanna’s Capri Style

Rihanna shopped it up while on vacation in Capri, exuding effortless style in a semi sheer orange $250 Jen’s Pirate Booty maxi dress along with a $2,295 Prada Madras Tote:

The singer completed her look with wild, curly black tendrils, simple gold sandals, and round sunglasses. Her lace dress, which also comes in white, features 3/4 length sleeves, a deep v neckline, and a luxuriously long fit. Her woven tote is fashioned out of goat leather and boasts gold accents along with a removable, adjustable strap.

This is a cute look for a casual shopping trip. Love it!

Why It Works: Willow Smith

(Photos by PacificCoastNews.com)
It's not easy being Willow Smith these days. Not only does the 11-year-old have to follow in the famous footsteps of mom and dad, but she also has to compete with fellow child actor siblings Trey and Jaden, come to grips with the commercial failure that was her presciently-titled "Fireball" duet with Nicky Minaj, and most insulting of all, she still has two years to go before she can legally watch her film debut I Am Legend without an adult.

To make matters worse, she has to contend with a new Roc Nation diva, Jay-Z's attention-sucking bundle of joy, Blue Ivy Carter. Well someone's not going to take this lying down, and that someone is a mini, cross-armed diva with an album dropping soon titled You Think You Know Me. (To which we say: Uh, no, we didn't really think that necessarily, in fact we thought you were the one that was in the Karate Kid movie, but well, okay).

(Photos by PacificCoastNews.com)
The Hat: A shrunken pork pie style that would fit right in on Blossom, Smith's hat leaves ample cameratime for her lamb-like 'do and multi-piercings. Cool mom alert!

The Shirt: A piece of celluloid history? Smith's oversized white shirt looks a lot like dad's MiB button-down. The '90s vibe is on-trend, but we have a sneaking suspicion Willow might also want to borrow pop's memory-erasing prop for this look (like we do with our own '90s moments) down the road.

The Nails: Arty and befitting her burgeoning celebrity starlet status, Smith's long mint green digits feature a black tip accent on her ring finger, making for a summery mani with a hint of rock and roll.

The Armcross: Performed with the masterful execution of a 13-year-old, Smith's attitude-heavy position belies her tweendom—an argument in favor of the benefits of home schooling perhaps?

Steal Her Style: Taylor Swift's Cole Haan Oxfords

Taylor Swift (FameFlynet Pictures, Cole Haan)

You'll never see Taylor Swift trotting around town in spiked stilettos. The country sweetheart prefers brogues and Mary Janes, which add to her girl next door charm. She recently made her way through LAX in a particularly adorable pair of striped leather-trimmed oxfords. Make the comfortable retro-inspired flats yours for $158.

Steal Her Style: Mollie King + Jessica Alba

Mollie King (FameFlynet Pictures, ASOS)
Confession: We started following pop star Mollie King's style long before we'd ever heard any of her group's catchy songs. Although we've since added a few of The Saturdays' hits to our iPods, it's her perfect street style that has us hooked. During a recent break from the recording studio, the British beauty was spotted in trendy red jeans and a navy jacket. Plenty of celebs have embraced the nautical look, generally by sporting striped boatneck tops, but she's the first we've seen make rope detailing look so chic. Snag Mollie's Nautical Jacket with Rope Knot Detail on sale for $85.94 at ASOS.

Jessica Alba (Pacific Coast News, Ann Taylor)
Jessica Alba seems to have shelved her love of earthy neutrals, at least momentarily, in favor of bright pops of color. The mother of two was recently spotted getting pampered at an NYC nail salon wearing canary yellow skinny jeans (she also has a pair in lime green). She played up her pastel pants with this nautical-striped sweater featuring the same hue. While Jessica may look fabulous in just about anything, her classic top is universally flattering and, better still, costs less than $80.

Steal Her Style: Kylie Jenner's Cameo Dress

We imagine being the youngest member of the Kardashian/Jenner Klan comes with its share of pros and cons. On one hand, Kylie Jenner has some pretty big Louboutins to fill, but on the other, she has access to the kinds of fashion women thrice her age dream of. So it was rather refreshing to see the teen model choose an affordable $161 shirtdress to wear to the Breaking Dawn premiere back in November. The cute collared number is finally available for purchase by us non-reality stars. Score your own I Go Wild dress for $161 at SINGER22. Just be sure to accentuate your waist a la Kylie with a metallic skinny belt.

Steal Her Style: Olivia Palermo's Zara Bag

Ever since Olivia Palermo was first spotted carrying Zara's classic shopper last year, we've been obsessed with its timeless shape and perfect carryall size. Considering most of her wardrobe is strictly aspirational for us regular gals, we were pretty excited when we realized the rich leather purse only cost $160, but then dismayed when it quickly sold out everywhere. The High Street retailer must have heard our cries, as they've brought the purse back this season. Get it while you can!

Why it Works: Katie Holmes' Mod Street Style

While Suri’s dad was promoting Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol about town, mom seized the opportunity to treat New York’s paps to a veritable cornucopia of seasonal looks. Chunky cableknit for lunch in Tribeca? Boom: Lazy Sunday Luxe. Black polka-dotted gauzy cocktail frock? Boom: Winter Shopping Mega-Festive. Silky coal onesie with ivory lace underlay? Boom: Birthday Dinner Glam. But it was while her better half was on his way to a Late Night With Jimmy Fallon appearance that Katie really hit her high note.

The shades: A nod to the wayfarers her hubby made de rigueur in Risky Business, the silhouette of Katie’s shades also wink at her own filmography with an ever so slight upturn befitting a Catwoman alum. Timeless, self-referential and trendy. Touché. Of course, the impact of the frame is helped by being topped off with that impossibly glossy prep school–worthy mane, the kind celebrities named Kate seem to excel at.

The coat: What better way to bounce back from the mixed-reviewed Kennedys miniseries than by conquering a 60s staple. On this occasion it’s safe to say Katie knocked it out of the park, pairing a mod black three-quarter-length swingcoat with that fab shrunken fisherman’s sweater from lunch (bonus points for illustrating the versatility of the piece KC!). It’s ever so "girl-next-door back from the big city, home to break the news to her film geek childhood sweetheart that she married that guy from the movie they both love."

The bag: A pop of Rudolph red in an otherwise neutral ensemble, Holmes’s nubuck Clare Vivier messenger bag screams chic celebri-mommy—still compact enough not to hold everything mommies who aren’t famous need to hold. And in case you didn’t get it right away, the peekaboo effect from Suri’s plush toy—a hint of creamy grey for that tone-on-tone effect with Holmes’s swingy a-line skirt—drives it home.

Steal Her Style: Mila Kunis + Jessica Alba

There are a lot of reasons to love Mila Kunis, one of them being her natural and seemingly effortless hotness. Instead of getting totally decked out for the airport, she favors comfortable threads just like the rest of us. She kept a low profile in this cozy striped sweater, which has just a slight hint of sparkle. Follow her lead and pair the top with cuffed jeans, or use it to balance a fitted pencil skirt.

Snag Mila's Metallic Striped Pullover on sale for $69 at VKOO NYC.

There's no denying the fabulousness that is Jessica Alba. She can do ultra-glam for the Golden Globes, but she looks equally chic when she's running errands with her daughter. She recently performed the latter in a chic black-and-white outfit: a relaxed plaid shirt, a matching satchel and retro cateyes. Fierce!

Snag Jessica's Silk Gatehouse Shirt for $110 at Madewell.
