Steal Her Style: Rihanna’s Capri Style

Rihanna shopped it up while on vacation in Capri, exuding effortless style in a semi sheer orange $250 Jen’s Pirate Booty maxi dress along with a $2,295 Prada Madras Tote:

The singer completed her look with wild, curly black tendrils, simple gold sandals, and round sunglasses. Her lace dress, which also comes in white, features 3/4 length sleeves, a deep v neckline, and a luxuriously long fit. Her woven tote is fashioned out of goat leather and boasts gold accents along with a removable, adjustable strap.

This is a cute look for a casual shopping trip. Love it!

Covetworthy: Urban Outfitters' New Fall Denim

We've been going on a lot of fall and holiday showroom appointments this week and guess what? Autumn is going to be all about jeans—specifically, printed jeans, patterned jeans, and jeans embellished with tribal-inspired motifs.

Check out some of our favorite looks from Urban Outfitters' fall BDG denim collection. They're colorful (eggplant, pine green, wine red, and the bluest blue), printed (animal-print, feather-print, snake-print, and equestrian themed), and skinny (their two key fall silhouettes are the "Twig" and the "Cigarette").

Priced from $54 to $78, these pants will start arriving in stores in August. What do you have your eye on?

Fashion People Freak Out Over Bad Weather - Summer Storm Edition

As many you guys can tell by the number of Celine bags, I blog about or Tweet and Re-Tweet about, I am totally in love with CELINE BAGS. My obsession began over at Hermes, with the Birkin bags, but now I have morphed into a complete Celine Bag fanatic! I only wish they came in as many colors as the Birkin bags.

Birkin's colors are compared to FORD Motor Company's car color scheme, while Celine bags keep it more upscale in the monotone muted tones of a classier vehicle like a Mercedes. You would never paint a Mercedes orange, but it'd be a sight to see.

ANYWAY all that to say, there was a horrible rain situation in New York this past week, and the fashion world FREAKED! Check out my favorite reaction-models Selita Ebanks and Chrissy Teigen's freak out over Chrissy's Celine handbag getting wet.

[VIDEO]: "Sh*t Fashion Girls Say"

We know Sh*t [insert blank here] say videos are sooooo three months ago, but we just had to share the latest Sh*t Fashion Girls say video that The Platform posted on Youtube today. Why, you ask? Because our main girl Leandra Medine aka the Man Repeller, and the girl everyone loves to hate Rebecca Black were both in it.

The video's theme is a "Sh*t Fashion Girls Say on the Internet" and we are #totesguilty of all that it mocks.

M.I.A In Versace Haute Couture During Paris Fashion Week

M.I.A made a statement in Versace this past weekend as she hit up the Versace Haute Couture show as part of Paris Fashion Week. She was spotted front row in a gold patterned jacket, top and leggings that she paired up with embellished Versace shoes and a small gold handbag.

This look definitely has a lot going on but it’s so M.I.A. Check out more pics

Blue Lip Trend ?

Over the past two years, we’ve seen bold colored lips popping up on trendsetting celebs on the party scene. One of the most daring colors, blue, has been spotted on adventurous party girls like Amber Rose, Rihanna and Ashanti.

Last week, Teyana Taylor stepped out to Jayvon’s Smith Birthday celebration at W.I.P rocking a bright blue lip courtesy of Ka’Oir. A few days prior, she wore a deeper blue lip (Ka’Oir’s K’OirDOLL) while showing off a pair of Rick Owens jeans and Versace shoes.

Amber Rose is no stranger to both shades of blue. She wore a light blue lip during Black Gay Pride week in Atlanta two years ago and a deeper blue during a club appearance that same year.

Celebs Love High-Fashion Sneakers

We can't help but revel in a shoe trend that doesn't hurt our feet (perhaps this is also the reason we'll never let go of our secret Ugg stash). Hollywood has taken to wearing statement sneakers for any and every occasion. From leopard print to snakeskin, studded leather to suede high-tops, check out some of our favorite high-style comfy kicks!

We never thought we'd see the day when Kim Kardashian would wear a pair of sporty Velcro-clad shoes. Of course, a ballerina bun and an all-leather ensemble upped the style ante.

Rihanna has a new pair of statement footwear for her seemingly constant outfit changes. These spiked zipper high-tops were just her style.

The highest paid fashion model in the world has given her blessing to the cozy trend in a pair of sneakers with hidden wedges. Hey, who says sporty shoes need to shorten our stems?

It makes sense that a new momma would want to wear, well, non-stilettos. Beyonce did just that with these super-high tops.

We'd be doing a little dance down the street, too, if we were wearing Sarah Jessica Parker's super-cute kicks.

Carmen Electra hit the airport in comfort with a rocker vibe in these spiked black-and-white tennis shoes.

One of our biggest style crushes, Poppy Delevingne, added some youthful punk style to her red blazer with a pair of glitzy gold leopard high-tops. Now that's high-fashion.

Four Fashion Rules You Should Break

Do you know what we have to say about not wearing white pants after Labor Day? EFF THAT! And eff all of the other fashion rules that we're supposed to abide by. Who came up with these restrictions anyway? Click through to see what other rebellious decisions we'll be making this summer and fall. You're gonna love 'em.

Rule # 1: No White Pants After Labor Day—Or Before Memorial Day
Phillip Lim, Fall 2012

Fashion initially warmed up to this idea by producing a ton of ivory winter whites. Now, they're going all in. Stark white in the winter time (and currently, for spring) is happening.

Rule # 2: No Pastels Past Easter
Cacharel, Fall 2012

One of the biggest trends for fall is pastel colors. And Spring 2012 was filled with dark colors. Go figure. Maybe global warming is confusing all of the fashion houses? Whatever the reason, there are so many cozy, pretty pastels to choose from.

Rule # 3: No Pattern Mixing
Dries Van Noten, Cacharel, Fall 2012

Look for the craziest prints you can find and mix them all together—because it's fun! (And it can look very chic.)

Rule #4: No Denim on Denim
Levi's, Fall 2012

You KNOW we're always breaking this rule. It's one of our favorite pastimes. This is America, if there's anywhere you can wear head-to-toe denim, it's here.

Alexander McQueen Launches its First-Ever Accessories Campaign—for a $38,000 Handbag!

Beloved British label Alexander McQueen collaborated with still life photographer Dan Tobin Smith to create the brand's first-ever accessories campaign.

The new ads introduce McQueen's latest handbag, the "Heroine," and the art direction contrasts dramatic black and white angles and shadows to highlight the bag's sophisticated structure.

The particular "Heroine" featured in the campaign is built from black croc—and will run you a cool $37,995 at retail. The style is also available in a less expensive antique python ($7,360), bond black calf-skin in a medium ($2,595) and small ($2,295), and oxblood suede in medium ($2,495) and small ($2,295).

Reminiscent of Celine Bags to me.

Which one do you want?

Fashion Zombies - [VIDEO]

The video will explain it ALL .

Look of the Day: Kim Kardashian's Little Black Dress and Gladiator Heels

Kim Kardashian (Getty)
It's no secret Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have been gallivanting around France for Fall 2012 Couture Week. The high-fashion couple have been peacocking about Paris in a variety of promise-to-get-noticed ensembles, sticking to a monochromatic black and white color scheme.

For Valentino's presentation, the curvy style guru looked classic in her ruffled lace LBD and thick diamond choker. Our favorite part of the look? Her killer gladiator heels. While we loved the drama of the Stéphane Rolland applique design she donned earlier this week, the sharp simplicity of this look is to-die-for.

Behold: a Gummy Bear Gown Inspired by Alexander McQueen

Sweets addicts, rejoice! This morning, we're bring you a little fashion for your breakfast, and you can eat it, too. Why? Because this stunning rainbow-bright confection is made entirely out gummy bears. 50,000 (!) of them to be exact.

For its debut issue, TWELV Magazine created this handmade deliciousness paying homage to late fashion genius Alexander McQueen. To create the gown, creative director Hissa Igarashi and his team twisted steel wire into the shape of the dress and covered it with a vinyl coating. Then one-by-one, the crew intricately glued each yummy gummy onto the frame by hand.

The entire gown took a painstaking three weeks to complete and weighs in at a whopping 220 lbs, taking three people just to move it—Yeesh! IDK about you guys, but I’d definitely need the workout of walking around in that thing, because I know I'd be plucking treats off it all day long.

Here's one last breathtaking (er, stomach-grumbling?) look at this sweet feast of a dress.

All together now... Mmmm!

For reals though, how stunning is this gown, you guys?! Are you eating it up as much as we are? Let us know what you think in the comments below!

Shoe Obsession of the Day: The Iris van Herpen and United Nude "Thorn" Bootie

(Photo via ImaxTree)

OMG, shoes! More specifically—Oh. Em. Gee. these shoes!

Dutch fashion designer Iris van Herpen collaborated with United Nude to create this hauntingly beautiful monstrosity of a heel that was unveiled on the runway in Paris this week. Making it the duo's sixth time working together, the appropriately named "Thorn" bootie was crafted for van Herpen’s Autumn/Winter 2012 haute couture collection, Hybrid Holism.

The ferocious footwear measures in at a towering 7.4 inches and features spikes made from hand-cut semi-precious stones. It's not the first time the collabo has stomped their way into fashion headlines—anybody remember the fanged fabulousness from Spring 2012?

There's something totally Lady Gaga about these, no? What do you guys think?

The Last Three Nude Nail Polishes You'll Ever Need To Buy

(From left: Essie Nail PolishButter LONDONDeborah Lippmann)
We don't know about you, but after all the sparkles, neons and red, white and blue hues from the past week, our nails are in serious need of a color detox. But as we all know, sometimes the simplest things (like the perfect natural-looking polish, ahem) are the hardest to find. Fret not, though. We've got your back (or rather your hands) and helped round up the last three nude polishes you'll ever need to buy. So without further adieu, here we go!

The Best Super-Conservative Nude: Essie Nail Polish in Allure ($8) While you typically don't ever see the words "conservative" and "nude" in the same sentence, certain situations call for an ultra-classy manicure. This soft and sophisticated sheer, which was created for—you guessed it—Allure magazine, is the most universally flattering shade we've yet to see. Just ask Kate Middleton, who wore it on her wedding day. If it's good enough for the Queen, it's good enough for your, um, "lovely" conservative mother-in-law.

The Best Sultry Shimmer For a Hot Date: Butter LONDON in Yummy Mummy ($14) No matter your skin tone, the just-right amount of seductive shimmer in this elegant beige will flatter your tips in the same way your killer LBD flatters your curves. A classic best-seller at Sephora, beauty buffs swear by the formula's super-opaque and chip-resistant properties, meaning this mani will last, well, all night long.

The Best Everyday Shade: Deborah Lippmann Nail Lacquer in Naked ($16) The name pretty much says it all—if it's nude you're after, you can't get any more in the buff than "Naked." The silky neutral lacquer is infused with subtle pink undertones, mimicking an au natural finish that goes from work to the weekend and everywhere in between. Layer on two coats and voila! Barely there perfection.

We love, love, love these shades, but we want to hear about your favorites, too! Let us know below!
