He may be married to one of the world's most famous models, but Orlando Bloom never really considered fronting a major ad campaign before. The new face of the Boss Orange Man fragrance explained to WWD, "I never really thought about doing it before — I guess because I probably took myself too seriously and thought, I'm an actor, I'm not a model."
But once Bloom learned more about the product, he changed his tune. Executives explained, "It's about a unique quality of independence and freedom, open minds and free souls and all of these ideas, and I was like, well, that's kind of cool. I'm a guy's guy. I'm not really a fragrance kind of guy. Suddenly, it was like, yeah I can see how this could fit. It doesn't stray too far from me."
Thus, Bloom found himself working with director Jonas Akerlund and photographer Steven Klein on the campaign for the fragrance, which hits shelves February 1. Take a look at the image above—does it look like it's all about freedom and open minds to you?
