Kim Kardashian and Kanye West Wore Matching Pantsuits to Paris Fashion Week

Being the oh-so serious designer that he is, it was only a matter of time before Kanye West graced Paris Fashion Week with his presence. And that his baby momma Kim Kardashian would soon follow. This we expected. But never in our wildest dreams did we imagine their rendezvous in the City of Love would be this, uh, suiting.

BEHOLD: Kimye in coordinating black and white pantsuits!

The duo wore their coordinating duds to Givenchy's fall 2013 show, where they sat front row among the likes of Amanda Seyfried, Sky Ferreira, Jessica Chastain, Jessica Chastain's see-through pants, and Nicole Richie.

Kanye seemed to fit right in, because boy did he have his iPhone holding form down pat — look, pointed pinkie and everything!

But in all seriousness, maybe there's something to couples dressing alike, after all. The two looked, like, really, really happy together. Kanye even cracked a smile!

Really.

10 of the Hottest Looks From Paris Fashion Week Fall 2012

Fall 2012 shows came to a close with a fashionable final week in Paris. We excitedly watched the industry's hardest hitters put on the most elaborate shows of the season. From the front row to the runway, beauty to jewels, we've selected the hautest looks from France's most glamorous week.

As if Yves Saint Laurent's slinky chain metal wasn't sexy enough, Stefano Pilati added a bare-back element that blew our minds. Let's hope Gwyneth Paltrow gets her hands on this green number stat!

Most of Sarah Burton's Alexander McQueen pieces tend to be more suited for couture (the words ready-to-wear are apparently open for interpretation) but we had our eye on a couple looks that we could actually fantasize about wearing. This pale pink textured dress, for example, is right up our alley—minus the vision-obscuring eyewear.

Balmain's artistry lies in their simple silhouettes with decadent embroidery and encrusted beading. This season's collection of pearl-emblazoned strong-shoulder designs were reminiscent of a matador and resulted in what appeared to be high-fashion armor.

Despite having her second baby like yesterday, Jessica Alba didn't miss the glamour of Paris Fashion Week. She sat front row at Lanvin in one of the designer's glitzy asymmetrical creations.

For Alber Elbaz's 10th anniversary as head designer of Lanvin, he strayed from the label's signature draped knits to try out structured ruffles and sharper silhouettes. What really caught our eye, though, were the charming jeweled details embellishing this textured finale ensemble.

After a year of designer rumors, Christian Dior has yet to fill John Galliano's shoes. Alas, the show must go on. For Fall 2012, JG's right hand man, Bill Gaytten, romanced us with sheer pleats and a pretty color palette of lilacs, pinks and plums.

No one does romance like Elie Saab. Following his opulent couture presentation, the Lebanese designer tempered his Paris ready-to-wear collection with wearable work attire. But that's not why we love Elie. We adore his red carpet-caliber designs like this eerie tree branch gown that is just begging to be worn by Rooney Mara or Evan Rachel Wood.

Olivia Palermo has become a Fashion Week staple. The master of accessories attended the Christian Dior show in this drop-waist splatter print dress paired with statement lace-up heels.

It wouldn't be a Valentino collection without the brand's show-stopping red. Unexpectedly used on a jumpsuit (fashion's boldest creation) it is all the more fantastic.

Thierry Mugler's fall line will appeal to its celebrity clientele (that means you, Lady Gaga). This fringed design with space-age cutouts was both sultry and artistic.

Kanye West to Return to Paris Fashion Week

Kanye West is taking the phrase "better luck next time" to heart.

Despite debuting his eponymous line to mixed reviews, the hip-hop star is going to take another crack at fashion design. Kanye's spokesman at the Karla Otto agency announced that the singer-turned-designer will once again show his collection at Paris Fashion Week on March 6.

It's no secret that the guy loves fashion. He interned at Fendi and studied under Giuseppe Zanotti. But one thing's for sure, Kanye has a long road ahead of him before he reaches fellow musician/designer Victoria Beckham's sartorial success.

While we're not sure what to expect from him this time, we're guessing his show will once again draw a star-studded crowd. His last collection debuted to fashion heavyweights like Anna dello Russo, Carine Roitfeld and the Olsen twins. Stay tuned for news on the Kanye West sequel collection!

Louis Vuitton Spring 2012

Show: Louis Vuitton

Hair: Guido Paulo

Makeup: Pat McGrath

Accessories: Patent high-heeled mules, Lockit and classic Speedy bags in hyper-luxurious fabrics like whitewashed crocodile and deer, silver tiaras on every head

Overall takeaway: A sugar-spun, sugary-sweet Sugar Plum Fairytale of a spring collection

Sugar and spice and all things nice. That's what little girls are made of. It's also what Marc Jacobs's Louis Vuitton collection is made of for Spring '12—if that list encompasses such wonders as gem-studded paper dresses, powdered crocodile and millions of dollars worth of feathers.

Unveiled on a vast carousel—representing "the circular dance of fashion"—in the Cour du Louvre, the Louis Vuitton collection felt like the definitive statement of femininity, a sugar-rush that made your back-teeth hurt. But in a very wonderful way. It neatly tied up many of the season's key themes—pastel palette, sumptuous decoration, '60s couture silhouettes. Wait, did I just say couture? Was this Marc Jacobs's big creative bid for the top dog role at Christian Dior?

Many assume that has already been handed to him on a silver platter—but, for the world's press, this was Jacobs's audition. His show notes constantly returned to the value of the handcraft of the Parisian ateliers, and he lavished their no-expense-spared expertise across these truly beautiful garments. It also had its own distinct handwriting, Jacobs's handwriting, that would be evident no matter what name was on the label inside. We wait with bated breath for the announcement of the new Dior designer. If it were judged purely on this superb offering, Monsieur Marc would be a shoe-in.

KW by Kanye West: Paris FW Debut

So I realize I'm late with this, but here it is... I actually LOVE the Collection, but I might be bias, since I'm a fan..

Kanye West's clothing line was arguably the most anticipated collection of the season. Kanye's love (obsession) with the fashion industry is no kept secret, for months rumors had been circulating over the rapper's entry into high-end fashion.

At last the KW collection was launched in Paris to a fashion savvy audience of celebrities and critics alike, from Anna dello Russo and Carine Roitfeld to Lindsay Lohan and the Olsen twins. There's no question, Kanye knows how to make a grand spectacle. This leads us to the good side of the KW show: the presentation was undeniably immaculate, as to be expected from the musical mastermind. The clothes, however, were lacking the same brilliance. "Heavy might be the operative word," Style.com's Tim Blanks reported, siting the collection as "a baby Balmain vision of womenswear." Those were the kinder of reports on the line.

In her review titled Good Thing Kanye West Has a Day Job, Christina Brinkley of the Wall Street Journal referenced Lindsay Lohan's notoriously disastrous collaboration with Emanuel Ungaro, "Mr. West didn’t receive the standing ovation he seemed to be expecting when he took a bow from the runway." The journalist went on to describe the KW collection (rife with furry backpacks, vulgarly plunging necklines and sloppy bandage dresses) as "Herve Leger meets Donald Trump."

Kanye, however, is not the type to be easily discouraged. We have a feeling he's now prepping for Paris, Fall 2012.

See More Pictures of the Collection HERE.
