Vogue's contributing editor has just inked a deal with production company Electus to develop a late-night talk show on a yet-to-be-named cable network, WWD reports. This makes total sense — Talley is definitely comfortable on camera. Remeber his America's Next Top Model gig? And his cameos in The September Issue?
The program would serve as a platform for Andre to chat with his famous friends, and he sees it as "a show that blends Dick Cavett’s approach to eloquence and sophistication with unparalleled access into my international fashion lifestyle. A forum where unique stories will be told and inspirations shared."
So, it would basically be his "Mondays with Andre" web series on the small screen. But, hopefully, with more fancy cape twirling.
Much to our delight, Oxygen has already released the first episode of The Face — the network's new modeling competition series starring Naomi Campbell, Coco Rocha, and Karolina Kurkova — a week before its February 5th premiere date.
Now normally I leave posting casting calls, and such related material to my twitter account, or the blogs twitter account. However, this casting call in particular has to do with me in more than just being a casting call for fashion industry folk.
So here's the back story:
A few weeks ago, a good friend of mine and one of Orlando, Florida's leading fashion industry catalyst, Stacie Holmes (also known as: @FashionzDaughter) gave me a ring for an opportunity to work with her a upcoming project. She welcomed me on as the HOST of the upcoming reality television show, and I couldn't be more excited or thankful for the position! So I hope to see ALL of my readers in the Orlando area (and surrounding counties) at the Casting Call this Saturday!!

It's baaaaack! House of Style, the legendary supermodel-hosted fashion MTV talk show of the late-80s and early-90s—previously fronted by industry luminaries including Cindy Crawford, Shalom Harlow, and Amber Valetta—returned to the super-small screen this week with a debut episode hosted by models Joan Smalls and Karlie Kloss.
Even though I was to young to fully grasp the concept/definition of what style was when this show was originally HOT back in the day, but now that I know what I know, I'm Here For It!!
Check out the 9-minute premiere episode—which was shot at Paris Fashion Week—right here:
Wow, we thought we were excited when MTV announced it was bringing back iconic 90s-era supermodel-hosted fashion television show House of Style—but now we're really excited! It was just announced on the MTV Video Music Awards red carpet that modern-day runway heroes Joan Smalls (above, left) and Karlie Kloss (right) will host the upcoming series.
Joan Smalls is one of the most heralded models of the past few years—and she's currently ranked number one on modeling industry site Models.com. She's currently starring in fall campaigns for fashion houses and brands such as H&M, Fendi, and Givenchy.
Karlie Kloss is currently ranked number two on Models.com's list of top women's models (ooh, rivalry!). The St. Louis native is currently starring in campaigns for Juicy Couture, Elie Saab, Jean Paul Gaultier, and Stefanel.
