Solange Knowles' Fall Madewell Campaign

(Photo via NecolBitchie)

Solange has been smashing the style game lately, and with as much style as she has, we're not surprised that she's snagged yet another endorsement.

We've always been obsessed with the 26-year-old DJ's impeccable street style—not to mention those voluminous natural curls!—so it came as no shocker when we heard that J.Crew's preppy-gone-quirky sister store tapped Solange for its fall campaign.

According to the company, "Solange’s great style mix-matched perfectly with Madewell’s aesthetic."

Giving attitude in the brand's go-to orange-red lip, watch Solange bring that Brooklyn je ne se quois to the set of Madewell's shoot:

Makeup junkies, get excited! Bobbi Brown is opening its first-ever pop-up shop in Grand Central Station later this month.

Five makeup artists will work in the shop, ready to give any women on-the-run Bobbi's "High Touch" service—a five-minute makeover. Bobbi's personal manicurist will also be on hand to give 10-minute manicures.

“A broad cross-section of women pass through Grand Central every day, so it is the perfect location to be in the middle of all of the excitement and capture women on-the-go," said Bobbi Brown, founder of Bobbi Brown Cosmetics, in a statement.

Get the Look: Rihanna's Sunglasses

(Courtesy of Miu Miu)
For such a tough girl, it was nice to see Rihanna soften up while on vacation in St. Jean de Luz, France.

Rather than sporting her signature leather, denim, and spikes, the popstar went for a floral one-piece and Miu Miu's "Culte" pentagonal sunglasses. She finished off the retro look with a braided updo and ruby-red lips. So glam.

To get this look, pop on a pair of Miu Miu Culte sunglasses, available on Miu Miu's website for $390. Love the sunglasses? Check out this six-minute film titled The Woman Black (below), which debuted the glasses back in February. The film features chanting witches (dressed in Miu Miu, duh) who cast a spell on an innocent women and turn her into another Miu Miu dress:

Lala Anthony In Givenchy Fold Over Riding Boots

When you live in a place like the East Coast that is plagued with humidity during the Summer, you will never understand women in shorts and knee high boots in July. It sounds like such an oxymoron, however in Los Angeles where Summer Nights are at least 10-15 degrees colder than the day time temperature, it actually starts to make sense.

With that being said, Lala stepped out during BET Awards weekend, pairing them with denim shorts and a sheer fuschia blouse. She paired up khaki Givenchy Pre-Fall 2012 foldover riding boots with ripped jean short  shorts and a sheer, hot pink blouse.

Nasty Gal is Launching an In-House Collection

(Courtesy of Nasty Gal)
Nasty Gal, a carefully-curated fashionista-favorite e-commerce site, is finally launching its own in-house label.

The site will roll out the launch slowly this month. Today, Nasty Gal is also unveiling its denim collection, which features "The Kink," above, a $88 high-waisted skinny jean that comes in seven different colors. In a few weeks, the site will also reveal its shredded shorts and low-rise skinnies. Finally, later this month, Nasty Gal's full 32-piece collection will be available online. The complete collection retails between $58 and $400 for a leather jacket.

“We’re evolving quickly from providing a highly curated shopping experience and assortment of hand-picked brands and items to designing and developing our own exclusive branded products," Sophia Amoruso, Nasty Gal's founder and chief executive officer, told WWD.

“We’ve been a retailer up to this point," she continued. "Our customer is so loyal, and our natural next step is to curate from perception to production for her."

After the label launch, Nasty Gal will also release a bi-annual print magazine, appropriately dubbed Super Nasty.

In other words: big things are happening for the little online shop that could. Check out the collection's video debut, which looks like it came straight out of the early 90s:

H&M to Open Home Stores in the USA Next Year

The H&M Home store in Helsinki, Finland
A few weeks ago, I wandered into an H&M store in Helsinki, Finland—but immediately got really confused because there weren't any clothes around. Turns out, I'd stepped into the world of H&M Home—a division of the Swedish fast-fashion retailer that sells home decor products (mostly soft furnishings, it seems) at the great H&M prices we've all come to know and love.

H&M Home launched in Europe—specifically, Scandinavia, Germany, the Netherlands, Austria, and the UK—in 2009 and 2010. And, according to a report in today's WWD, H&M is gearing up to launch its homewares in the United States early next year.

This is great news, isn't it? Are you excited about H&M Home launching in the USA? Have you been dying to redecorate, but don't know where to buy affordable and fun interior products? Tell us in the comments, below!

Did JW Anderson Knock Off J. Crew?

These days, it isn't uncommon to find high-end designer lookalikes at mass-market stores—but when's the last time you saw a luxury designer knock off something from a retail chain?

Say hello to JW Anderson's men's striped cashmere sweater, new for fall and currently available at Oki-ni for $853. Does it look familiar? If you're a loyal reader of Bryanboy's blog, it sure might.

This past March, Bryanboy wrote about finding this, above right, "vintage" J. Crew sweater at Kiliwatch in Paris. He bought it for 25 Euros and wore it for a photo.

While shopping for fall looks on Oki-ni, Bryan stopped short. "

At first I was like, wait a sec, that sweater looks so familiar!" he writes. "Then I was like, wait, I already have it!"

We have no idea how the 25 Euro J. Crew sweater morphed itself into a $853 luxury cashmere pullover for fall. Obviously, lots of designers look to vintage for inspiration, but what do you think of this level of direct copying? And from a mass market chain store, no less!

Tell us what you think in the comments, we're dying to know.

Would You Pay $250,000 for Nail Polish?

If you literally want your hands to be dripping in diamonds, fine-jewelry maker Azature—aka the "black diamond king"—has the nail polish just for you.

That is, if you're willing to pay a pretty penny for it.

The blingest polish of them all contains 267 carats of black diamonds and clocks in at a whopping $250,000 per diamond-shaped bottle—making it (not surprisingly) the most expensive nail polish on the market to date.

According to a statement, "The nail polish is offered in Azature signature black and coats on with a glittery sheen that resembles the sparkle of an Azature diamond."

Thankfully, Azature is aware that not all of us are willing (or able for that matter) to spend, oh, just five college educations-worth on nail polish. So for $25, the brand is also releasing a similar tricked-out shade made with only one black diamond, which will be availble to Fred Segal shoppers come August.

Will you be coating your nails in diamonds this fall? Let us know in the comments below!
