What was your inspiration to start a clothing line??
Basically, we both just wondered what it would be like to have our own clothing line. We always had the idea, and I had a sketch book full of designs for t-shirts just waiting for some backing.
Well we have our basic AYEO logo tee, and our “Doin Me” design that a lot of people like. As well as or AYEO Duckets tee that was inspired by the Denver Nuggets logo. We also have a signature line that we will be launching sometime in the fall. We wore a few pieces to Sneaker Friends 2011 in Atlanta, and people asked when it would be available for purchase.

What’s the name of the clothing line??
AYEO, AYEO Clothing Co.
Who are the main people in this “Group” or are you Solo??
Group, ( Clarence McSpadden(Jay Are), Jerel Thomas(Jay Two)
What was your inspiration to start a clothing line??
Basically, we both just wondered what it would be like to have our own clothing line. We always had the idea, and I had a sketch book full of designs for t-shirts just waiting for some backing.
That must have been an interesting feeling??
Yeah It was, when we first started we didn’t know what to expect. But we waited until we had everything we needed until we launched. Like our website, e-store, blog site, twitter, Facebook page. Everything that we could use to promote our brand.
What kind of pieces center around the line??

Who do you collaborate with to come up with design ideas??
Just each other for now. Jerel is a really talented graphic design artist. And I also have an eye for design, but I like to draw. So if I’m inspired about something I would like for the line. I’ll draw it and pass it on to my boy Jerel and he’ll take it from there, and vice versa.
Is there a target audience??
Well we are trying to target the more urban, hip hop, sneaker head, and skater crowd with most of our designs. But our signature line is going to be real sleek, and classy so that it can be tailored to all ages.
Where do you see this line within the next 3 years??
Hopefully on a beach drinking a Corona. LOL, Na we know it’s a long process to make it in this industry, we both are very patient people and hope that a lot of people see our line and are really impressed with what we came up with. But every year we are going to strive to be better than the last and come up with newer fresher concepts, t-shirt designs, and accessories. And ladies we haven’t forgot about you, because we will doing more designs for y’all as well.

Are you planning or in any Fashion Shows?? Or maybe just a showcase??
Well we are planning on being in a few fashion shows coming up in July hopefully. But we are going to do an AYEOLife release party so keep your eyes and ears open for that.
