Shoe for shoe, Charles Barkley's Nike signature sneaker line ranks amongst the best. Last fall, we saw the classic CB34 return to retail in an original colorway for the first time since 1995. Since then, the model has released in a couple of previously unreleased colorways, like "Wolf Grey" and "Glass Blue." To bookend those releases, the white-based original scheme is officially dropping next month and has even turned up at a few online retailers early.
The CB34 was nicknamed the "Godzillas" because of the teeth print that ran along the side of the shoe. That design cue was implemented as a reference to the Godzilla vs. Charles Barkley ad campaign that ran in the 90s. This pair features a mostly white upper with black accenting the tongue, heel pull-tab, teeth design and midsole. Varsity purple handles branding and elements of the outsole, while Orange Blaze completes the look on contrast stitching, the Max Air unit and outsole as well.
The Air Max CB34 is slated to drop at Nike retailers next month, but has surfaced at Premier early.
