Where Are They Now - 'Project Runway' Contestants

What do you get when you combine Tim Gunn's robust vocabulary, Heidi Klum's German catchphrase, Michael Kors' wit and Nina Garcia's spot-on critique? Project Runway! With the amount of talented Project Runway alumni over the years, we couldn't help but wonder: Where are they now?

Austin Scarlett might just be the fanciest competitor in Project Runway history. The innovative designer (remember the corn husk dress?) with the fabulous hair has certainly been keeping busy since his competition days. In 2006, Scarlett ventured into bridal gown territory, joining the Amsale house of design. In 2010, he and fellow former contestant Santino Rice combined road trip fun and fashion in the television show On the Road with Austin and Santino.

Mondo Guerra stole our hearts in season 8 with his quirky design aesthetic and varied use of prints. An advocate for AIDS research, Guerra designed limited edition T-shirts to commemorate World AIDS Day. Catch Mondo and his fascinating fashions on Project Runway All Stars.

Christian Siriano, the youngest winner of Project Runway, has been enjoying a burgeoning design career. Celebrities like Taylor Swift and Heidi Klum are fans of his work and the sassy star even has a diffusion shoe collection for budget retailer, Payless. Get tidbits from the man himself in his latest book, Fierce Style: How to Be Your Most Fabulous Self.

One of the standout characters from season 2, Nick Verreos went on to teach the tricks of the trade to students like Lauren Conrad at FIDM Los Angeles. Verreos continues to design for his line, NIKOLAKI, and is often spotted on the red carpet as a fashion correspondent.

Best remembered for his spot-on impersonation of mentor Tim Gunn, Santino Rice has since gone on to star in On the Road with Austin and Santino and is currently working on his clothing collection. Santino can also regularly be seen as a guest judge on RuPaul's Drag Race.

Sassy redhead Laura Benett deserves major kudos for being the only contestant in PR history to compete while pregnant. The talented designer is the brains behind an LBD collection for QVC and even penned a book, Didn't I Feed You Yesterday? A Mother's Guide to Sanity in Stilettos.

Anthony Williams' never-ending witty comments earned him a rightful place in PR history. The Southern belle is currently working as a freelance designer in Atlanta, GA. Currently Anthony acts as lead stylist for the hit VH1 sitcom, "Single Ladies". He is also currently on Project Runway All Stars

We'll never forget Tim Gunn's face when Chris March revealed his designs made from human hair. He's gone on to create stage costumes for stars from Lady Gaga to Madonna and even surprised fashion critics when he dressed Meryl Streep for the 2010 Oscars in a demurely draped white gown. March and a team of fellow kooky designers returned to Bravo TV on the costume design show, Mad Fashion.

Chloe Dao's luxe final collection might just be our favorite in PR history. In May 2007, Dao premiered a 13-piece collection on QVC which sold out during the televised broadcast. She continues to run her Houston based store, Lot 8, as well as fashion lines Dao Chloe Dao, Dao Chloe Dao for Nuo, and Simply Chloe for QVC.

Who could forget Gretchen Jones' controversial win in season 8? The sharp-tongued designer has since gone on to have a successful eponymous line available on her site.
